Trek to Jivdhan Fort & Naneghat Caves on 13th & 14th October 2012.


Dear Trekkers,

We @ Bhramanti365 have arranged a two day Exciting Trek to Jivdhan Fort & Naneghat Caves on 13th & 14th October 2012.

Place: Naneghat (Ancient Trade Route Pass)
Height: 2800 feet (above MSL)
Grade : Easy

Fort : Jivdhan
Height : 3754 feet (above MSL)
Base Village: Ghatghar
Grade: Hard

Trek Schedule :-
03:00 pm At kalyan st.Depot
06:00 pm Naneghat Entrance
06:30 pm Introduction Round & Ascend
10:00 pm Caves
10:30 pm Dinner
till 11:30 pm Campfire etc

05:30 am Breakfast
06:00 am Ascend to Jivdhan fort
06:30 am Base of jivdhan Fort
09:30 am Atop & exploring jivdhan fort
11:00 am Descend
01:30 pm Lunch @ Naneghat caves
rest till 03:00
03:30 Descend starts
06:30 pm Naneghat Entrance 

We will be at kalyan around 08:30 PM ( Which is Tentative )

The Estimated expenditure for Trek is about Rs. 900/– per head (For Veg food) and 1000/- ( Non Veg food)

Things To Carry:-

A Water Bottle (~2 Ltrs) (a must)
Good trekking shoes, Extra pair of Cloths, and a pair of Socks.
Camera, Cell Phone, ( on your own Risk )
Avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments ( Suggested )
CARRY some Biscuits, choclates, strepsils.etc
Kindly carry your personal medicines if any.
A haversack to put all these things

Some DO's & DONT's on trek

DO's

Do your best to Trek with friends. It's much safer than hiking alone, and more fun too!
Research the trail and area before heading out so you know what to expect.
Make a Contact during Trekk to know people better.
Keep Natural Habitat Undisturbed.It keeps you and the Flaura and Fauna Safe for the next Trekkers.
Always keep spare water/food, avoid gold & big amount cash.
Use double socks at a time (To Avoid the Jerk and Corns on the foot )
Things you can use to boost your energy:- Chocolate,Enerzol, Electrol, Glucon-D,Lemon,Sugar,
keep info of ur team mates ( blood group/allergies/emergency contact no )
keep one hunting knife & lighter  (very useful in survival )

Dont's

Don't disturb animals or their homes. Be a quiet observer and take pics if you want.
Don't litter. Pack a small garbage bag so you can keep track of your trash.
Don't stay on a trail that is too difficult for you. It's more than OK to turn around.
Don't Carry Alcohol or cigarettes on the Trek.
